Chrissie Abbott

Chrissie Abbott works and lives in Hackney, London and is an illustration based artist. She claims to have a love for Colour, typography, old photographs and adventure. Her work is quite magical and often psychedelic. Her compositions are very busy and sometimes quite mad!

I'm not sure in all honesty how much I do like her work. I think some elements of pieces are really interesting but for me I feel they're too busy and I also feel she seems to be putting a lot of effort into making work trendy and modern. Saying that though some of the typography works really well alongside the illustration and in the calmer pictures do have a really nice feel to them.
